Colin Hathaway


Colin Hathaway began his professional dance training at the age of 13 at Canada's National Ballet School where he had the opportunity to dance in various productions with the world renowned National Ballet of Canada. After graduation Colin attended Canada's National Ballet School's Teacher Training Program to further his love of ballet on and off the stage. After competing inYouth America Grand Prix he was invited by Adam Sklute, Artistic Director of Ballet West, to train with the company. He has traveled internationally as a guest artist and perform principal roles in various productions including principal roles in: Cinderella, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast. Colin is now a Principal Artist with Utah Metropolitan Ballet where he has danced leading roles in: Nutcracker, Peter Pan, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Cinderella, 12 Dancing Princesses, Swedish Rhapsody, Legend of Timpanogos, and Balanchine’s Serenade and Who Cares?. He performed in the world premiere of Jacqueline Colledge’s Snow White. He continues to guest teach and dance throughout the country sharing his talents with the next generations of future dancers.
