Delaney Zieg


Delaney Katherine Zieg is from Long Beach, California. She trained with South Bay Ballet at Lauridsen Ballet Centre in Torrance, California. While under Diane Lauridsen’s direction, Delaney performed principal roles in Coppelia, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Graduation Ball, Cinderella and Nutcracker. Delaney attended summer intensives at San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theater, and Orlando Ballet. Delaney was a trainee at The Washington Ballet for three years, under the direction of Septime Webre, where she performed at Kennedy Center in Giselle, Swan Lake, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Sleeping Beauty. She joined Utah Metropolitan Ballet as a company member in 2016. She has performed various roles under Jacqueline Colledge’s artistic direction. Some featured roles include: Arabian Princess and Waltz Queen in Nutcracker”. While at Utah Met, Delaney has also performed works by George Balanchine, Heather Gray, Alan Hineline, and has been a guest artist for Eva Stone and Kenneth Walker Dance Project.
