Shelbi Campbell is from Lindon, Utah. She began her training under the direction ofJacqueline Colledge, Heather Gray and Brittnee Squires at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet. Before the age of three Shelbi fell in love with ballet when she saw her older sister perform the role of Clara in the Nutcracker. After that, she could not wait to begin her dance classes. At the age of twelve Shelbi was selected to join, UtahRegional Ballet II. She gained experience through classes, rehearsals, RegionalDance America, Youth America Grand Prix and summer intensives. Shelbi attended and was awarded scholarships to several summer intensives including, NationalChoreography Intensive, International Ballet Competition Intensive andJacqueline’s School of Ballet summer intensive. In the summer of 2015 Shelbi had the opportunity to perform and tour in Europe for The Young Tanzsommer Arts Festival.Her favorite ballets are The Legend of Timpanogas and Romeo and Juliet. Her favorite role she has performed is the ArabianQueen in Nutcracker. Shelbi is currently attending school at Utah ValleyUniversity on scholarship. She will receive her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in2021. This is Shelbi’s third year performing with Utah Metropolitan Ballet and it is her love and passion.
